As he doesn't want any other people to enter, he blocked all spaces leaving only one free slot. When he was waiting, GM jcgo16 enters the room and my brother kicked him. He came in 5 more times and my brother kicked him too. He whispered to my brother that my brother was banned and even told my brother to thank him. He blocked my brother's I.P and now my brother couldn't enter the game with his newly created accounts. I suggest you should look into the matter and unblock my brother's I.P . Next time, ask Google before you waste a person's time.
Noob: I did, but I can't find one. Well, I found one but I couldn't understand it.
Me : [while he was typing the previous message] You need to Google the right term. "vista home basic aero"
Noob: I don't understand this: "All you need to do is to change the values of two registry keys and restart Windows Vista afterwards. Open the registry by pressing Windows + R, typing regedit and hitting enter afterwards."
Me : Windows key. Don't you know?
Noob: Nope. Look for Composition, double-click it, and change the value to 1 then change the value for CompositionPolicy to 0.
Noob: Wait... How do I find HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\DWM\?
Me : [tension broke] You [erase]god damn fagly[/erase] expand the HKEY_CURRENT_USER folder, then Software, then Microsoft, then Windows and then DWM.
Noob: Okay found it. Now what?
Me : Just [erase]hit your head on the ceiling[/erase] scroll up and read.

In the end, it didn't work and I had to give remote assistance to fix it up.

Offensive Online Game Ads

If you've seen those ads, you'd know what I'm talking about.

IGG's Galaxy Online - "... I mean look at the whole series. It was good, but it became a little boring when they attacked Soul Society. Then they had to go through those soul vampires for 20 episodes. Now, they've been fighting those Arrancars for almost 150 chapters now, yet the odds of which side is going to win is still the same. The fact that somebody still loves the show like your mother loves Harrison Ford since he came to Hollywood is almost unbelievable. Can somebody just chop that Aizen's head already and make Ichigo be the next king of soul society. Trust me, the story will be at least 500 chapters long.

Naruto? Easy. Although I never watched it years already, but I can say Sasuke is gone and has not come back since then(the time I stopped watching). They just take off the really cool Sasuke and the fans then go like "OH NOES!!!". They end up buying all the chapters to see what would happen to their prince and look! There's money on Masashi's pockets!!!

Whatever crap it is, I like just one thing about Bleach. Okay I'll stop playing since I can't get full effects and this thing has bad frame rates. Is there any 2D shooters around? Gunbound... Well, I quit that a long time ago. Maybe the Google has an answer.

[tapitty tapitty tap; click click click]

Then I found this completely free open source cross-platform retro multiplayer shooter called Teeworlds. Chris Pirillo reviewed it in his video. I decided to give it a try since the screenshots look promising. A few minutes later, I'm running around the map like hell because there's a friggin' sick 1-hit-KO flying ninja chasing me. The gameplay is intense and full of action, sometimes with funny events.

The game is really simple. You play as a very cute ball thingy(see image) and you start with a rifle(not in image) and a hammer(red guy on the right). You run around and shoot other thingies until they die. Simple right? There are a few maps to choose from(you can even create your own). Some are small, some are big, some have bottomless-pits(you die falling). You can pick up other weapons like tha bazooka and shotgun(the guys facing right in the image) but they have limited ammo.

Athough those weapons are better, the rifle you get when spawning is pretty useful too, especially when people chase you with a hammer, which deal a high close range damage. I just started yesterday and the game is very smooth. There were no lags at all in my computer. The only problem on this game is there are not much people playing it, but there are plenty servers out there.

Rating: Perfect 5 out of 5. Something flew around my left hand and I tried to swat it away, thinking it's a mosquito or fly. Then pinch, it bit me, and when I took my hand up, it's a bee sting. Half an hour later(after running around the school to find the teacher in charge to give me a leave), my father bought me home to give some first aid(we had none in the school at the time). My father said it's fine but I insisted to go to the hospital: it is compulsary for the doctor in charge to sign it. After an intense(and tiring) argument, my father bought me to the hospital and it was VERY CROWDED. I took a ticket and its about 70 more before I get to even register myself. Because we could not wait, we went to eat and was right on time when we got back.

The doctor gave me an injection and gave me a prescription for the pain and itchyness. I felt fine and went back to school as normal. Everything was fine until I started to have a fever during sunset. I thought it would be better if I rested but it got worse... to 39.4 degrees Celsius(102.4 degrees Fahrenheit). I took some Panadol and the fever faded by a little, but now, I feel very weak I could barely type properly.

Mircoapplesoft releases previews of Maciwindotosh!

SUNDAY, CALIMOND. Many people in my school either never heard of this word or tells me the wrong meaning of it. One day, I asked the question "What is defragment?".
Prabaharan(classmate/no-eligible-but-is-a-prefect): "Defragment is you know, delete the files inside the hard disk to make it go faster."[he also said that he reformatted his 350GB hard drive on a Pentium 4 computer + install Windows XP in 45 minutes all through BIOS. WTF!?]

About half of my class said something like that when I put this question on a debate. These people(including you) should read this: http://computer.howstuffworks.com/question548.htm

If you don't understand it, I'll do the explaination to you. I'll start by explaining what are and how hard disks work.

---------------------------------------------------------

Hard disks are just a metal box with a few layers of special discs called hard platters each with an arm that acts as a data reader and writer. The arm moves about a side of the disc to go to some parts of the drive.

Now, here is a diagram of hard platter. Data is stored on the surface of a platter in sectors and tracks. Tracks are concentric circles, and sectors are pie-shaped wedges on a track.

A typical track is shown in yellow; a typical sector is shown in blue. A sector contains a fixed number of bytes -- for example, 256 or 512. Either at the drive or the operation system level, sectors are often grouped together into clusters.

So let's imagine that you install a new application onto an empty hard disk. Because the disk is empty, the computer can store the files of the application into sequential sectors on sequential rings. This is an efficient way to place data on a hard disk.

As you use a disk, however, this efficient technique becomes harder for a disk. What happens is that the disk fills up. Then you would erase files to reclaim space. These files that you delete are scattered all over the surface of the disk. When you load a new application or a large file onto the disk, it ends up being stored in hundreds or thousands of these scattered pockets of space. Now when the computer tries to load the scattered pieces, the disk's arm(which is very slow) has to move all over the surface and it takes forever.

The idea behind the disk defragmenter is to move all the files around so that every file is stored on sequential sectors on sequential rings of the disk. In addition, a good defragmenter may also try to optimize things even more, for example by placing all applications "close" to the operating system on the disk to minimize movement when an application loads. When done well on older disks, defragmenting can significantly increase the speed of file loading. On a new disk that has never filled up or had any significant number of file deletions, it will have almost no effect because everything is stored sequentially already.
As you might imagine, the process of indivdually picking up and moving thousands of files on a relatively slow hard disk is not a quick process -- it normally takes hours.

Sources: HowStuffWorks - http://computer.howstuffworks.com/question548.htm

Accidents happen...

I just accidentally ruined my Windows partition yesterday morning. It all happened when I tried to install Ubuntu on the old hard drive. I took away too much space from that and it caused the partitioner to go nuts when they were moving the data(the file table was already overwritten). So, an error message pops out and I freaked out when I saw 'Used: 6431MB' on GParted(a partition editor). I tried to restore the hard drive back to how it was but this is what I got during the booting screen.

BOOTMNGR is not found.
Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart.

- Windows?

"Okay... damn... I'm in big trouble, but wait, maybe FIXBOOT in Windows Recovery Console can fix that. It's just a missing boot manager right?"

NTLOADER is not found.
Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart.

- Windows? after FIXBOOT and FIXMBR

I thought I'm screwed now, but then after watching CSI: NY, I got an idea: run a file recovery tool to restore those missing files but there is a catch, none of those things on Linux recover files in NTFS. And so, I put my life on luck that so that Windows Setup does not overwrite important files. But sadly, it did(f*** Microsoft). All my FL Studio files, Arif's Mixing Pleasure 4 notechart and NO2JamPI project files are overwritten(either fully or partially). We used to humiliate him but ever since he became a prefect, he's been treatening everyone and showing his vengence on everyone towards around him. IMO, it's becoming a serious morale sinkhole of his life. I hope that this song can be a fix to that, either educationally or by humilliating him. This is also the first song I made which is not a remix. Hope you like it.

EDIT: He got fired.

How to make Windows' fonts look like Mac OSX

I was browsing some sites looking for something that can improve my text editor and I found this article: http://estevaomascarenhas.com/blog/2009/01/howto-1-mac-osx-font-smoothing-in-windows/

It's about how to make Windows XP's font look like the ones on Mac OSXs. I liked it and I thought I should share them to everyone.

If you are reading this, probably you like the way that the Apple OS renders the font, as you can see in this image:

So, let me teach you how you can do this in your Windows 2000/XP or Vista:

1- Download this file

2- Extract this ZIP file in any directory, for example:

C:\gdi

3- Doubleclick the file:

gditray.exe

4- Now, your task bar you can note a “G”, like the image:

5 - Click with the mouse right button and select the option:

Enable

6- Now, the “G” icon in your task bar must be like this:

7- Enjoy this beautiful font-smoothing.

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: separate; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: 'Trebuchet MS'; font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: normal; orphans: 2; text-indent: 0px; Crysis has no good story; it was only a part of the trilogy, it doesn't have good maps; the forest is way too huge and you spend most of your time on the island walking/running/speeding. The only thing in the game that impresses me, and many other players, is it's realistic physics and graphics you MAY get for burning a hole on your bank account. Simmilarly, this is just like Half-Life 2 when it came in with it's Source engine. They introduced what was once never-before-seen-in-the-history-of-gaming physics and beat the other games at that time. The story was okay, but like the Crysis and the old one, it was made to only please the gamers.

Half-Life 2 was the pinnacle of gaming. However, the physics in the Source engine was not complete. Ragdolls can fly across the map with a simple console command, a brick and a see-saw. The engine could sometimes produce an output that makes the situation in the game funny. It was the funny output that led to the idea of Garry's Mod. Every map in the game immediately turned into a sandbox. You can catapult people, wrap them on fireworks... It was a game any simulation-game fan like me would want.

Crytek however, made an engine that could produce realistic results. It's power is limited, but currently, we treat it as limitless because our hardware could not fully utilize it yet. Many people do not realize it's capabilities as a real world simulator. There are already some people playing with CryEngine 2's physics: imagine blowing up 3,000 explosive barrels stacked like a tower in Crysis. The fun is already there when you just think about it. Sadly, the calculations required to simulate the situation realtime are too demanding even with the best hardware we have today. The ones in YouTube are actually sped up for viewing(originally ~2-3 seconds per frame). Just wait fow a few more years when ATI and nVidia do some magic in thier cards and you'll see something like Garry's Mod in Crysis.

Games evolve very fast; Moore's law indirectly says so. It won't be long when we see games that calculate energy.

Boom! Maybe I pushed it too hard to supply power to my CPU when I was Fruity Looping on Identity 2.5. I have a spare PSU that may or may not work but I'm going to try it. I think my computer has been short of electricity for quite some time now, but not enough to overload the capacitor...
I'll be cleaning and moving the computer somewhere else and the third PC Fair is coming this December and I'm going there to do some shopping. Edited it abit.

Important!!!
To **** ***:
**** ***, the year 2006 is the year where you are going to have your SPM exam, as SPM is going to determine your future, whether you are going to work as a road sweeper of as your ambition to become a pilot is greatly depending on this examination: SPM !!!
Based on your attitude of studying in Form Four, with no doubt, you are currently on you way of becoming a worthless sweeper. Imagine that, everybody that knows you look down on you. Imagine you, yourself sweeping the floor under the hot sun and you saw your friend driving a Mercedes around, you are wearing an unstylish, ugly, shining-green T-shirt while they are wearing coats and stuff. Even your family especially your mother is disgraced by your own relatives, they are talking about engineering, medical updates, latest computeing while you share your experience with them about what amazing stuff you manage to pick up on the pavement in front of thier office. That is a very horrible scene not suitable for our naked eye. Imagine how would you feel if that day really came true.
Change, **** ***, you must change, as everything in life can be changed. Your life will be full of options; college welcomes you, companies fight to recruit you, your friends look upon you, you become popular, your mother will be proud of you. You explain your theories to your older relatives and they listen in awe. What a life will that be, just imagine that.
Due to your ignorance, stupidity and your damn lazyness, sucessful is not going to be easy. You will mourn, cry or whatever, facing stress. No more games, PS, PC... You will lose your laughter during the process and may go mad, but on the other hand, you can enjoy your life till the very end of your time.
The main objective of the small message is to remind you, time is stupid; it goes on forever untill it fades away. You determine you own destiny, and after time pases you certainly cannot turn it back. Time goes on with or without you, so are your friends, they go onand leaves whatever drags them behind. If you were to left to slowly fade away, you will never catch up to them.
Change! Change! There is time now, grip it tight with your lazy hands, never let it go, never. Always tell yourself: It's now or never. Seriously, if you are always saying "Tomorrow Never Dies", you are correct in physical laws, but not in your own time... 'Goodbye, **** ***, goodbye.'

In short, 'AIYA, CHANGE LOR!!!'

Why Windows Vista sucks

Having seeing all the commotion of Vista being useless, I decided to try it out as a critique to the Operating System. The results are of what I expected, it does suck, very badly, worse than a black hole.
First of all Vista needs a lot of juice to run smoothly. If you were to upgrade to Vista, expect to spend alot on upgrading your "outdated" XP system before buying the DVD, which costs another OMG-WTF RM400. Even if your hardware is "Supported by Vista", most of them are just too damn slow to run Vista because its specs are nigh high.
And that's not it, this damn thing comes in 5 packages: Starter, Home Basic, Buisness, Home Premium, and Ultimate. Why 5 packages you ask? I'd say they are trying to trick people into buying the wrong version. The Starter Pack is a RM399 crap-shit junk which is a scaled-down-to-nothing version of the original, meaning there's none of the functions they created for Vista. Furthermore, that crap can only run THREE programs and nothing more because it doesn't let you. The Ultimate Pack costs another RM100 with only one extra feature, the so-called BitLock Technology which prevents data-loss from the RM600 Home Premium version.
Even if you are a rich guy and doesn't care about the money, buy a Mac OSX instead. Vista's system is freaking damn unstable. It crashes many times and all you'll get are black-screens, blue-screens and red-screens filled with gibberish technical data even their galaxy of support pages can't give you a damn simple solution to the problem.
OK, you play safe, but Vista doesn't. It has more holes than a sponge. According to some websites, a hacker only needed less than a second over a broadband connection to send your RM 3000 mobo crashing into the deeps of their hell of codes. Windows Defender doesn't catch a shit and more like annoying you with a crap-load of shit.
Although it has the nice beautiful DirectX 10 but there is nothing really special. Even though some settings in those games are Vista-only, you only need a mod or hack to unlock most of it. The only thing that is really DirectX 10-only is the Soft Shadows. Why spend so much on just a small thing? And many of you out there who rely on Pirated Games can't play it well because Microsoft locked the system up with their DRM. Sure, hacks like Paradox are available, but how do you use a black-security-hole Operating System without patches?

Seriously, even Microsoft themselves extended the Windows XP's support date till 2010 because the XP guys refused to move to Vista(Yes, they forced many of us by literally ending the support for XP) and waited for Windows 7 which is coming out in a year or so. Microsoft admitted thier mistake on over-investing on Vista but on the other side, the hardware industries rushed to improve thier technology so that they are faster to run Vista smoothly.

Here's a nice Vista Sucks Advertisement Video
http://blip.tv/file/340692/

Blizzard announces Diablo III

This is an old new news actually, Blizzard officially announced Diablo 3 at Blizzard's Worldwide International 2008 in Paris at June 28. During the event they released a cinematic trailer now available at their website. There is also a 800MB game play trailer that introduce us to some new features of the game. The first character introduced was the Barbarian from Diablo 2. He is still packed with the same powerful whirlwind skill and jump attacks he had before(which was used in the game when a bridge fell apart) and I noticed a great difference in the game's environment. The game is no longer 2D but the camera kept the same angle of view the way it was. The graphics are jaw dropping, although the effects resembling much of WoW. Water puddles flowed smoother and ripples corresponding to the character's movement. All that and I damn my HIS Radeon 9550 SE which can't even get me a decent frame rate in NFS Carbon even after overclocking.
The monsters seem to have proper rules of gravity applied to them allowing their butchered body parts to roll and eventually fall off bridges. They also enhanced the environment's interactivity, allowing you to use them as weapons. Too many zombies? Lets bring down the wall then. Treasure chests? Better not touch it or you'll end up running like Indiana Jones.
After that they introduce us a new character class - the witch doctor. He has some pretty cool speels like a wall of zombies and a swarm of hungry locusts which even seeks out enemies and spreads. Witch doctors also use pets like mongrels that help eat up enemies and deliver disease damage after he casts locust swarms over them. He also have a 'Horrify' spell that scares enemies away and buys you some time to summon more stuff up. He can cast mass confusion that turns a group of enemies against each other and the doc needs only to stand and watch as the enemies kill thier own kind.
Finally, the demo ends with an epic battle and 2 female versions of the Witch Doctor and Barbarian joining the party. The four take on a few vicious walking trees followed by a six-limbed monster that looked like a pit lord from Warcraft called the Siegebreaker Assault Beast. The battle aimed to demonstrate the level of skill needed and at the same time promised a challenging play for the pros of Diablo. The gameplay trailer is quite gore as there are body parts flying around, blood splattering at every angle and a Barbarian getting chewed and ripped apart by the pit lord-like beast.
The game looks like a heavily-modified WoW. I mean the inventory had the close button placed like in WoW and there is even a dying gnoll sound coming out at the beginning of the trailer. Anyway, who cares when its loaded with steroids? Everyone is wondering when Blizzard will release it. Well, my predictions say about 2-3 more years because of Starcraft II and The Wrath of the Lich King(no news about SC Ghost yet) delaying it but seeing that they already got a demo running already, it shouldn't be long.

- Chrono Sentinel

New Virus Infects My Computer

Yesterday, a virus infected my computer and forced me to fully reformat my computer. I was playing Lego: Indiana Jones while waiting for a file to finish downloading. I Alt-Tabbed and a command prompt pops-up and says: "1 file(s) extracted" then exits. A few seconds later, Windows Explorer crashes. I thought it was ViStart acting-up again but I was wrong. When explorer restarted, my wallpaper has been changed into a red "Virus Alert!" warning with a bio-hazard sign in the middle. Then, several weird icons started popping out on the desktop and the clock on the bottom-right showed: 20:18 : VIRUS ALERT!
It's pretty obvious that explorer.exe was switched so I tried to kill the new explorer but when I tapped Ctrl+Alt+Del and nothing happened. It seems like the virus got ahead of me by removing the Task Manager. So, the only solution I thought of is using the command line. I clicked Start and All Programs is missing along with Run and anything that leads a folder in the start menu. Then I used a folder I placed in the Desktop to access My Computer but C: Drive is missing. So, I used a direct link: "C:/Windows/System32/cmd.exe" then in the command prompt, "killtask /F /IM explorer.exe". and then I was left with my old wallpaper, a command prompt, Firefox and Lego.
Now to remove the virus, I downloaded AntiVir, updated it, and ran a scan but no virus was found. Rescanning gave the same result. I was frustrated and infuriated by the virus. Google the symptom? Well, No useful search results found. Seems like a trip to the Darik's Nuke Plant. I reformatted and found out that it was from my thumbdrive. Tired from all the waiting, I reformatted again on the next day. Everything was back well. No more damn VIRUS ALERT! message and pop-ups on my computer, along with all my favorite musics and art.
Well, I just saw news reports that Microsoft admitted Windows Vista's failure and extended thier support on Windows XP to 2014(link). I thought that Windows XP will be doomed because of the original termination dated around 2009, after seeing that such virus exists. However, I still think its best to stick with Linux. It can run Windows programs via a program called WinE but it is not perfect because it is an emulator).

- Chrono Sentinel
